  • Autism Society of North Carolina - The Autism Society of North Carolina improves the lives of individuals with autism, supports their families, and educates communities.
  • BEGINNINGS - BEGINNINGS for Parents of Children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing is a non-profit that helps parents and families understand hearing loss as well as the diverse needs of children who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Center for Parent Information & Resources - This is a list of the Parent Training and Information Centers (PTIs) and Community Parent Resource Centers (CPRCs) in the US and US Territories. These organizations work with families of children with disabilities (birth to age 26), help parents participate effectively in their children's education and development, and partner with professionals and policy makers to improve outcomes for all children with disabilities. The site is managed by the US Department of Education.
  • CHADD - CHADD  is a national, non-profit organization with the goal of improving lives of adults and children with ADHD and their families.
  • Hands & Voices - Hands & Voices is a parent-led organization dedicated to serving families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing without a bias around communication modes or methodology.
  • International Dyslexia Association - The International Dyslexia Association is a non-profit organized and operated to provide advocacy, resources and services to teaching professionals, advocates and individuals and families impacted by dyslexia and other related learning differences.
  • National Center for Learning Disabilities - The mission of NCLD is to improve the lives of the 1 in 5 children and adults nationwide with learning and attention issues—by empowering parents and young adults, transforming schools and advocating for equal rights and opportunities.
  • NC Division for Exceptional Children - The mission of the North Carolina Office of Exceptional Children is to ensure that students with disabilities develop intellectually, physically, emotionally, and vocationally through the provision of an appropriate individualized education program in the least restrictive environment.
  • South Carolina Autism Society - The mission of the South Carolina Autism Society is to create connections, empowering everyone in the Autism community with the resources needed to live fully.
